to thrive in American communities and around the world as community
I am passionate about education, global initiatives, human rights, circular economy, and impact for people and planet. My goal is to inspire people to actively participate in making a difference.
In 2002, I began volunteering and helping refugees and survivors of state-sponsored torture to resettle in the Los Angeles area, and it transformed my life. From 2008 to today, I have served on Boards, helped target and market for successful fundraising and events, engaged communities, and to this day, pioneer an impact digital media company focusing on global and pressing issues.
My team and I have designed two impactful workshops:
1- 50 Ways to Help the Planet (English and Spanish)
Created during the pandemic, one step at a time. This digital guide offer ways to help from school, work, and home.
2- As I recently became Accredited by the US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights as a Human Rights Consultant, we have designed a Human Rights Workshop for Schools (10-17 years old).
The goal of this workshop is to facilitate the creation of a world where people treat each other with respect and dignity; where peaceful solutions are sought between individuals, groups and nations; where every man, woman and child may enjoy their rights.
Education. Impact. People. Planet.
